• Calculate the probability of aurora visibility at your location
• Show relevant observation spots nearby
• Customize weather data and forecasts for your area

Your location is processed in real-time and stored only locally on your device. We do not send your exact position to our servers.

1.2 Device Data

To deliver push notifications about aurora activity, we collect:

• Push notification token (anonymized device identifier)
• Approximate location for notification relevance (city/region level)

1.3 Usage Data

We collect anonymized statistics about:

• Which features are used
• App crashes and technical errors
• General usage statistics

2. Advertising

The app uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. Google may collect:

• Device identifiers for advertising purposes
• Approximate location
• User behavior to show relevant ads

Premium users can choose to remove ads through in-app purchases.

3. In-App Purchases

If you choose to purchase premium features, payment is handled by Google Play. We only store:

• Purchase status (premium/standard)
• Transaction reference for support purposes

• Locally on device: Settings, saved locations, forecast history
• On our servers: Only push notification tokens and anonymized statistics

We use Cloudflare for hosting and data processing, which means data may be processed within the EU and internationally according to Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
